We are an independent professional consultancy practice specialised in tailored services to meet client needs in Business Development, Systems Engineering and Project Management.  REALM has specific specialist experience accrued over 35 years in a broad range of Research, Engineering, Aerospace, Logistics and Management domains.

REALM Solutions is owned and operated by Jeff Walsh with a select team of experienced and eminent technical and scientific consultants in the electronics, mechanical, aerospace and software domains.   He has performed in many Product Development, Systems Engineering and Acquisition roles for large high value, advanced multi-contract projects in Aviation, Training, Software, Facilities & Infrastructure, Information Technology, Security and Electro-optics sectors.

Jeff has been personally responsible for project delivery in the order of $15m to $550m including business case development, feasibility studies, user & stakeholder requirements determination, concept to detailed design development, proposal preparation and contract negotiation, concurrent management of integration and supplier contracts, and acquisition management and delivery.

Jeff and his team have a career of experience in the management of commercial and government projects, defence and aerospace, infrastructure and training systems, systems engineering & life cycle management and in the conduct, leadership and facilitation of major business process re-engineering, manufacturing review, inventory reform, within safety, quality, large & small project design and production environments using contemporary personnel management and team building strategies.

In his academic studies, Jeff has researched and presented papers on Electronic Surveillance & Attack, Defence & Industry in Acquisition Projects, the Australian Ship Building industry, and Sustainability & Support via Acceptance Test, Measurement & Evaluation.
